Desiree Meloul has worked with Prof. Avishai Henik since 1996 as director of the Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

She deals with English editing, purchasing and payment issues, lab software/hardware maintenance and supporting the students in their endeavors, including finding research material, navigating administrative bureaucracy and helping students write in English what they are trying to express in their work.

She is also part of the administrative support of the Neuroscience, Cognition and Education think tank, an interdisciplinary project under the supervision of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Education.

In this capacity she deals with issues related to English, finance and communication.
