Areas of professional interest:

ü  Study of the problems associated with the simulation of high-speed penetration into monolithic and multilayer barriers from various materials, based on analytical models (since 1993).

ü  Study of behavior patterns and calculation of aerodynamic characteristics of bodies and optimization of their shape in a high-speed gas flow based on approximate models (1969-1995).

ü  Mathematical modeling and optimization of working and extension of gas pipelines and pipelines (1971-1994).

Education:

I graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Lomonosow Moscow State University in 1971, graduated from the correspondence postgraduate school and defended his Ph.D thesis (mechanics & mathematics) on the topic "Study of gas dynamics problems on the basis of the Local interaction models" (supervisor - Prof. A.I. Bunimovich).

Employment History:

After graduating from Lomonosow Moscow State University, I was commanded for work to the Research and Design Institute for Automated Control Systems in the Gas Industry, where I worked until 1994, successively occupying positions from engineer to Head of laboratory.

At the same time, I continued my scientific activities in Lomonosow Moscow State University (1977-1995 - on a freelance basis) in cooperation with prof. A.I. Bunimovich.

In 1994, I was employed at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Beer-Sheva, Israel) for research work; at first I held the position of a research fellow, since 2001 - Associate Professor).

Teaching Experience:

ü  Sapir Academic College, Israel (Differential and Integral Calculus - 2, one semester; Physics, one semester)

ü  Lecturing on gas industry objects modeling at the Qualification Enhancement Courses for workers (Moscow)

ü  Supervising graduation projects of moscow universities students
