Corporation with the industry and implementation of Predictive Maintenance Programs
Prof. deBotton keeps regular links with the local industry both through various consulting projects and educational programs. Along the educational front, Prof. deBotton in collaboration with the Israeli Engineering Union, founded a forum dedicated to advance the topic of predictive maintenance in Israel. This forum organized three pioneering workshops where Israeli engineers learned about this evolving maintenance doctrine. Thanks to the rising awareness, plants from all over the country initiated various predictive maintenance programs. In the latest workshop in June 2002 most of the speakers were engineers who reported about the implementation of the new programs in their plants

Additionally, Prof. deBotton serves as a consultant in the field of vibrations for various plants and institutions in Israel. Among these are Intel Jerusalem, Dead Sea Works, Makhteshim Chemical Works, Israel Electric Corporation, The Nanoscale Science and Technology center at BGU, Bromine Compounds, American-Israeli Paper Mills, and more
