Shlomi Deloia

Shlomi Deloia is a PhD student in the Department of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He finished his MA with distinction in 2006 with a thesis entitled "Retrieving the Footprints: Passing into Whiteness and the Construction of Jewish American Cultural Identity in Anzia Yezierska's Bread Givers." Deloia is the recipient of a Negev Excellence Scholarship for four years of doctoral research. His subject is race, whiteness and cultural identity in the Jewish American immigration novel of the 1920s.
