Ayelet Ben-YishaiUniversity of HaifaAyelet Ben-Yishai teaches English Literature at the University of Haifa. She holds a law degree (LLB) from the Hebrew University and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Nineteenth-Century Literature, Modern Fiction Studies, The MLA Companion to Teaching Law and Literature, and The Journal of Law, Culture and the Humanities. In addition to the intersections of literature and legal culture, her research and teaching interests include Victorian literature, realism, history and theory of the novel, postcolonial theory and the Indian novel in English. |
