Cultivating unculturable microorganisms from soil and marine environment.

Interactions between the corals and associated microbiota.

Study of microbial diversity in hypersaline industrial wastewater and development of molecular methods for quantification and for advanced study of microbial diversity.

Molecular microbial ecology.

Biological control of insects by recombinant transgenic organisms with combinations of genes from Bacillus thuringiensis.
