The Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences offers a major in engineering geology.


Engineering geology students are expected to enhance their math, physics and basic engineering education and are therefore studying calculus, linear algebra, statics, strength of materials, mechanics, and statistics, jointly with students from the Faculty of Engineering Sciences. Basic geology and chemistry courses are studied together with the rest of the students in the department, according to departmental requirements.
