Vision and goals

Program Objective

To train leading physicians in the fields of global and multicultural health and medicine. We believe that in today’s era, more than ever, medical education must be grounded in a global perspective - preparing students to engage with diverse populations from different cultures and backgrounds, and fostering awareness of disparities in language, access, and healthcare delivery.

Vision and Goals

  • Training a new generation of physicians with social responsibility, an international outlook, and a multicultural approach.
  • Advancing health in the Negev by developing responses tailored to the region’s unique health needs, while contributing to its social and economic development.
  • Education in preventive medicine by cultivating an orientation toward disease prevention, not solely treatment.
  • Community orientation and excellence by fostering clinical and research excellence alongside a strong commitment to the local and global community.
  • Medical leadership through the training of physicians who will lead the field of global and multicultural medicine.
  • International collaboration by promoting research and applied initiatives in health-related fields in developing countries and in the industrialized world.
