The Sagol School of International Health at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev was established in 2022. It offers an intensive four-year program leading to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. The program is designed for Israeli students and is supported by the Sagol Network.

The program emphasizes academic excellence, global health, preventive medicine, and personalized medicine, while integrating advanced technologies and artificial intelligence. Its goal is to train physicians with innovative thinking and an international perspective, who will contribute to address health challenges in the Negev, in Israel, and worldwide.

The Sagol School is part of the Faculty of Health Sciences. The Faculty, established in 1974, serves as a center of academic and research excellence at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. It is committed to excellence in teaching and in the training of physicians and other health professionals, alongside the advancement of cutting-edge, multidisciplinary medical research. The Faculty cultivates a generation of medical professionals who view the patient within a broad context - familial, cultural, and social - with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare services and the overall health of the residents of the Negev and the State of Israel as a whole.
