1. Review of dating methodologies (14C, 36Cl, noble gases, 129I, natural decay-series radionuclides, others)

2. Discussion of hydrologic concepts (models) and the implication to data interpretations.

3. Review of data from field studies (Negev and Arava, North and South Africa, Australia, Milk River aquifer, etc.).

4. Discussion of impact of hydro-climatic changes on dating of the arid zone groundwaters.

5. Application to the management of arid zone groundwaters
