גל סופר הוא מרצה בכיר במחלקה לאמנויות באוניברסיטת בן-גוריון בנגב. מחקריו עוסקים בהיסטוריה אינטלקטואלית ותרבותית של מדע, מאגיה וקבלה משלהי ימי הביניים ועד ימינו, בתרבות היהודית והנוצרית ובשפות שונות. בעבודותיו כותב על מעברי ידע בין שפות באירופה, ויזואליזציה של ידע מדעי ודתי, וחקר כתבי יד נוצריים ויהודיים.Publications
