Research Interests
Algal physiology in relation to the response of algae to environmental stress, i.e., light, temperature, and salinity and their effect on the photosynthetic activity. An attempt to relate these parameters and their interactions to physiological phenomena in mass cultivation of algae is made. Particular attention is given to photo-inhibition and modifications in PSII activity in Spirulina and its impact on out-door productivity.
