POST-DOCTORAL AND DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN ULTRA-COLD ATOMIC PHYSICS AND
	      COHERENT MATTER-WAVE DYNAMICS
	      BEN-GURION UNIVERSITY, ISRAEL

Several post-doctoral positions are available at Ben-Gurion University to
carry out research in the field of ultra-cold atomic and molecular physics
of quantum degenerate Bose- and Fermi-gases.  Theoretical, experimental and
combined theoretical-experimental positions are open.  Successful candidates
will carry out research aimed at suggesting, devising, carrying out and/or
interpreting atom-chip experiments.  Researchers will enjoy close contact
with a vibrant experimental group headed by Ron Folman
(www.bgu.ac.il/atomchip), a vibrant theoretical group headed by Yehuda Band
(http://www.bgu.ac.il/chem/Yehuda_Band/YB_home_page.html), and several
additional theoretical groups working on similar problems, including groups
headed by Ami Vardi, Doron Cohen, Yshai Avishai and Baruch Horovitz.

Candidates applying for a theory position, should be familiar with collision
theory, atomic and molecular physics, and have experience in programming
either C, Matlab, Mathematica or fortran.

Cabndidates applying for a theory-experiment position should have a strong
background in AMO physics and numerics.

Candidates applying for an experimental position should have a strong
experimental background in atom physics or in labs with related
technologies.
